Introduction

The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation (TPCHF), through our community and fundraising initiative, The Common Good, funds life-changing research, essential equipment, and patient care programs to help people live healthier, longer lives.

To fulfill our mission, we undertake activities such as fundraising, marketing, community events, and volunteer programs.

Who do we collect personal information from and when do we collect this personal information?

Why do we collect your personal information?

Any of your personal information collected by TPCHF will be used for the purposes outlined in section 1 above, which may include contacting you (including by way of email) to provide you with more information about our activities and how you can support us. We may also use your information to improve our services, conduct research, and develop marketing materials (with your consent where required).

Who do we share your personal information with?

Where you volunteer in our hospital support program, we may be required (by law) to disclose your information to Queensland Health and other government agencies (where required).

We may disclose your personal information to trusted third party service providers who support our activities. Otherwise, it will not be disclosed without your consent.

What happens if we can’t collect the personal information?

If the personal information is not collected, we may not be able to provide the support that we do and you may not be able to participate in our initiatives.
