Introduction
The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation (TPCHF), through our community and fundraising initiative, The Common Good, funds life-changing research, essential equipment, and patient care programs to help people live healthier, longer lives.
As part of our activities, TPCHF manages hospital volunteer programs which provide support to patients, outpatients, visitors, and staff at The Prince Charles Hospital, Caboolture Hospital and their associated Satellite Health Centres, and to assist with the activities of TPCHF.
Who do we collect personal information from and when do we collect this personal information?
We collect personal information when you apply to become a volunteer and throughout your volunteer service. Below are some examples of when we collect personal information, and the kinds of personal information we collect and from whom.

Why do we collect your personal information?
Any of your personal information collected by TPCHF will be used for the purpose outlined in section 1 above.
Who do we share your personal information with?
Where you volunteer in our hospital support program, we may be required (by law) to disclose your information to Queensland Health and other government agencies (where required).
We may disclose your personal information to trusted third party service providers who support our activities. Otherwise, it will not be disclosed without your consent.
What happens if we can’t collect the personal information?
If the requested personal information is not collected, we may be unable to process your application or support your participation in the hospital volunteer programs we manage.
